Summary Steve Miller offers more
than a decade of leadership in the management of successful marketing programs. Most recently at Bassett Furniture Industries,
Miller was Director of eMarketing responsible for all electronic media. He led the development of the company's new website,
launched a new consumer email program, and developed a successful internet marketing program that increased consumer traffic
by more than 35%. Prior to Bassett, Miller was a Senior Marketing
Manager for Kaplan Companies where he helped grow the company's eCommerce segment by more than 300% by redesigning and marketing
a new commercial website. At Sun Microsystems in Denver, Miller
worked as a Senior Program Manager responsible for the development of new products from concept to delivery. Under Miller's
management, five product offerings generated $4 million in their first year on the market. Before joining Sun, Miller was a Senior Product Manager at IHS Group, an information services
provider, where he had P&L responsibility for a $38 million product line. Miller was the team leader in the development
of new products that now generate over $10 million annually. Miller
holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing from Virginia Tech and an MBA with honors from Regis University in Denver. In his spare
time, Miller enjoys building Shaker-style furniture and spending time with his two golden retrievers. Steve is a native of
the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. |
